9 specialist physicians work in our clinic. The High Security Forensic Psychiatry (YGAP) service works with 9 nurses. In addition, 8 psychologists work in our clinic.
The psychiatry outpatient units is on the Z floor of the A block.
Psychiatry service is in YGAP Hospital.
Treatments Performed in the Clinic
In the psychiatry outpatient units, diagnosis, analysis, pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy applications are carried out.
Psychometric tests (intelligence, personality, psychiatric evaluation tests and neurocognitive tests; WAIS, MMPI, BDI, BDA, MMS etc.) are applied to the patients in addition to their psychiatric treatments.
Psychiatrists and psychologists practice psychotherapy for appropriate cases. In addition, psychiatrists continue their consultation services and delegation practices in the general hospital.
Our service was established as a High Security Forensic Psychiatry Service separate from the main hospital. Forensic psychiatry patients subject to Article 57 of the TCK will be followed in our 100-bed service.
